A PUBLIC ART PROJECT FOR THE BLIND
PORTLAND, OREGON, AUGUST, 2007

Tactile Braille stickers were placed all around public surfaces in Portland, Oregon, and a video was posted online.
Within days the video was viewed tens of thousands of times, and soon after, written about by several media outlets.
Like much street art these days the project was seen far more online than in person.
As such, while one early question was whether or not any blind people would actually get to experience Braille Graffiti,
the project quickly reached blind people all around the world.
