1) does good pitching always win?
1. I assume you mean the playoffs and World Series? If so, good pitching doesn't always win (90's Atlanta Braves) but it usually does (2003 Florida Marlins).
2. I love the bunt. I cannot belive teams have gone away from bunting. It sickens me when some bastard you can tell doesn't want to bunt when asked to do for and fouls off feebly the first two attempts. Bunting is so mandatory in my mind. If anyone is paying attention, baseball has become a home run derby. Last year in the playoffs almost 50% of the runs scored were via the home run. Check out the box scores if you like. Some games between the Yankees and Angels, or maybe Twins, had runs that were almost all produced by the long ball. A home run was always supposed to be a cherry on top. A bonus to baseball. It was never to be a staple, but has pathetically become just that. The bunt is sacred, it's a huge part in making baseball a "thinking man's game". If I ever coach, the kids will know how to bunt and its importance.

3. The DH is the most pathetic thing in all of sports. However, I think it is the perfect rule to distinguish the NL from the AL and therefore I accept it in the AL. Do I like it? No I don't, but I accept it and don't bitch about it. On this note, in distinguishing the NL from the AL, this leads me to get very VERY angry to the point I could almost burn something down or break something. Back in the good times of baseball, before MLB sold its soul to ESPN and every other slut TV contractor, the NL umpires had hats that said NL and the AL umps had hats that said AL. Baseball, following the NFL and NBA's model, took away this differentiation of the umpires. They slapped a MLB insignia on the teams' hats and put the MLB logo on the umpires. This is generic and pathetic. In fact now the umps wear black, remember baseball dumbshits, and Bud Selig, who's less than even an idiot, the umps are supposed to be blue! This is so pathetic. It's all for "brand management" to grow the "brand" of baseball. Well I say FUCK that and will only pray to be able to forgive the sorry bastards that did this shit!
