the tally

one of my favorite things in the world is playing pool with Rich and Ryan. Whether we're trash talking, drinking beer, being loud, in a dive, in a nice place, loud music, no music, a big crowd, no crowd, wood floors or carpet, dark or bright, day or night - it doesn't matter. it's basically always a good time. over the past 5 years, we have played hundreds of games of pool. i even had a table in the loft for a year and a half.

so, naturally, one of the ongoing debates has always been, 'who is the best of us three?' and i think we all agree that on any given night, any one of us could win. but here is the funny thing, i think we all three think that if we were all playing at our best, we each think we are the best of the three. which, of course makes for a perfect trio of pool playing pals, on any given night.

so, over the years, i have always wanted to keep a tally of the games. at this point, it is virtually impossible to even estimate where that tally would be as of now. however, i realized while playing pool with rich last night that i could start such a tally, and watch it build over time. and so, my friend, that is what you have found.
